Questions buyers and sellers ask me

Who pays the real estate agent's commission?

In a typical sale the seller pays commission out of the proceeds at closing, and it's split between the listing and buyer's agents. As of 2024 those terms are negotiated up front, so I'll walk you through exactly what you'll pay and sign before we start. No surprises later.

Can you help me if I'm relocating to North Texas from another state?

Yes. I relocated here myself, so I help out-of-state buyers from the first video tour to closing: what your equity buys here, the property-tax difference, school and commute realities, and a remote-friendly buying process so you can buy with confidence before you arrive.

Do I need a REALTOR® to protest my property taxes?

You can file a protest yourself, but the evidence is what wins it. I help my clients pull comparable sales and build the case to protest their county appraisal in Collin, Denton, Rockwall and the surrounding counties. Most homeowners never realize how much they're overpaying. I'm a REALTOR®, not a tax advisor, so for legal or filing questions I'll point you to the right professional.

Do you work with VA buyers and military families?

Absolutely. I'm from a military family and know the VA process: PCS timelines, the VA appraisal, zero down payment, and the Texas property-tax exemptions available to veterans. VA buyers deserve someone who actually understands the loan.
